mike - april29 - spring meet 2003
first of all click here!! ive been so fucking busy the last couple weeks. i
passed my first level at school so i was pretty fucking happy last wednesday. i
got a five day weekend. so anyways on saturday i went to the audi meet. pretty
weak turnout but its ok. an '99 A4, '92 S4, '93 90, '90 coupe quattro and my
'86 coupe gt. so we met up at avr import specialists in abbotsford and
then we went on a cruise through the winding backroads of abby towards mission
and back around the sumas mountain gravel roads. fuck did we ever get dirty.
that took up most of my day, i was pretty fuckin tired after that, check some
of the pics here. our plans for
sunday were the cruise to spring meet in payullup washington. so saturday
morning before the audi meet i posted in the forums that i was cruising alone
in my car, not alone to payullup, cuz we had a mob of 8 cruising together to
payullup but i was riding alone in my car and that i had a seat open to anyone.
so that night at 8pm this girl ads me on msn asking about the available seat, i
didnt know what to say , i said sure. so sunday morning she shows up at my
house at 545am ready to roll my first look at her and i was just like <3...
she was awesome lol. so we took off heading for the border to meet the
"mob". anyways it turns out that she went to my school for a week on
a trades discovery program and that i had seen her before, so this was totally
tripping us out, because we were total strangers otherwise. anyways, i had like
the best day of my life. payullup was packed with vw's + audi's porsche's.. old
new everything. plus the weather was 100% and like 25 degrees out. i was so
tired on the ride home and so boiling hot and burning from my sun burn = ) i
didnt want the day to end. to give you and idea of the size of spring meet
2003, check this
image... imagine it extended 5 times to the right and about 3
times to the left across the street into payullup fair grounds. i could maybe
guess 600+ cars ... amazing. they had an engine blow thing where people bet on
how long a 1.8 would run fully drained of oil. 2minutes and 32 seconds until it
blew up nicely. waterwagens sept!!
mike - april20 - easter.. half way
this has been like the sweetest easter in a long time. I mean the long weekend
in general. i just woke up 5 minutes ago to see this
on the corner of my table. thanks easter bunny! i was out lastnight the latest
ive ever been out since a couple summers ago thanks to school and work and all
that good stuff. most of the people started off they're 4:20 smoking dope and
they plan to finish it smoking
dope. what hardcores im thinking. lastnight
before i got together with these friends i was out at a volkswagen meet.
everyone just found out like hours before it happened so it was a pretty
spontaneous meet. anyways, great turnout, 20+ cars I think taking up all of tim
hortons / wendys parking lot = ). but something was fucked up because all these
domestics started chillin around there too, kind of disturbing. but then later
a whole shit load of japanese honda's and toyota's and whatever pulled in. at
that point i was thinking if somebody opens theyre mouth the whole thing would
turn into some sort of fast and the furious type brawl. amazing how many cops
were buzzing around though! then i started getting bombarded with calls to go
somewhere so i snuck off but you couldnt pull out of that parking lot with
anyone else leaving at the same time it was so packed full of the dubs,
japanese and domestics. so i ended up with a couple retards itching to rat
race, i decided against it. oh and kaboom was behind me in his jetta most of
the night, har har he cant pass me = ).

- april15 - great weekend
i had a great weekend. friday night was great. saturday morning rich and i met
up with alex and a couple (10) other members of the vwdov group for a cruise
into sfu for a meetup open to all euro's. alex recorded some wicked footage of
the drive and some great footage of the 120+ cars that showed up from revscene,
dtm power and vwdov. you can check out some pics

printed this table of bolts, washers, nuts, cotter pins and torque that i identified
for a project i was given in class. i got my hands on the ping pong table at

here!! i cant wait untill the vwdov euro meet this weekend. im ready to see some sweet
rides. until then i cant help but notice some of the crap out on the road.
today i saw this like brand new 2003 accord coupe with one headlight. this car
was like mint from the dealer, great to see honda headlights kick some ass... i
saw this stupid '90 5.0 mustang today with the custom plate " 5 litre
" like what the fuck, who cares, and it has 5.0 badges on it. and some
easy to remember plate i saw, 911 nhl. cant get any better than that. and for
fuck sakes, for the last month and 10 days ive seen the same dead seagull on
the side of the road everyday! there was traffic today and i got a slow pass by
it... very disturbing. been talking to natalie last couple days. shes really

i was just thinking about some disturbing things like clear taillights on a vw
corrado, or like this sign, i dont even know
where to begin on that one. but jared, rich and i totally agree that this piece
of shit website needs a fucking overhaul done and soon. and the overhaul was
not the color modification i just did. i wanna get rid of it and host a vw /
audi / automotive kind of page with forums and pics and shit like that. they're
kind of against that. ive already deleted the midget porn and the inappropriate
page of porn to host some of the v-dub pics i took at the vwdov birthday gtg
and das bbq from last sunday. i also went into audi of richmond to take some
pictures of the le mans r8, which is now at the autoshow at bc place. i think
im going to check it out the show in a couple days. try to avoid more
disturbances like ford and general motors... dont let me walk into their shit
holes ok? its almost as disturbing as sharing the can with your twin sister or
going to one of these fucked up places. but hey, if its potty time, its potty
time!
